Do you know much about Japan? When you think of Japan what do you picture? A country full of tradition and history? Or a land filled with robots and futuristic technology? Well, the beauty of Japan is that it is both futuristic and traditional.

Like every other country Japan has its own history and culture, but traditional culture in Japan is still very strong. This can be seen in the architecture where ancient temples and shrines can be found everywhere, even in Tokyo. Traditional food, religion, holidays, music, clothes, and art can be seen in daily life, which really makes you feel connected to Japanese culture.

Japan is known for its state of the art technology and unique entertainment. After WWII, Japan became a powerhouse of creating new technology, with tech giants such as SONY, Nintendo, and Canon. The neon filled streets, flooded with pachinko parlours, karaoke, robots, purikura, and vending machines really make you feel like you’re living in the future.

Since Japan provides us with the opportunity to savour its rich past and experience hi tech wonders, it truly is a country which anyone can enjoy living. Maybe the world you want to try living in is right here in Japan.
